Straight from Our Farms

All of our soft shell crabs are sourced directly from our own aquaculture farms — the largest of their kind in the world. Situated near marine estuaries along the Myanmar coast, our farms draw from the same nutrient-rich waters that feed mangrove forests, a natural habitat for mud crabs (scylla serrata). Harnessing clean freshwater from inland rivers and seawater from the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea, we create the best conditions for our crabs to thrive.

Our farms are also FDA-registered facilities, holding certifications in HACCP, GAqP, ISO 22000, and HALAL across various locations. Monitored 24/7, our farms use best-in-class aquaculture practices to maintain our high food safety, water quality, and crab health standards. Our commitment to upholding these high standards ensures that we deliver the best freshness and flavor in every box we deliver.

What are Soft Shell Crabs?

Soft shell crabs are crabs that have recently shed their hard outer shells — a natural process known as molting. Crabs must molt several times over their lifetime as they outgrow their existing shells and must shed them prior to forming their new shells. Immediately after molting, crabs reveal a soft and delicate shell underneath — soft enough to be entirely edible. However, if left alone in the water, the shell will quickly harden after only a few hours. To capture the crabs at their peak tenderness, all of our farms are monitored 24/7. Each crab is carefully harvested the moment it molts — ensuring unmatched freshness, texture, and flavor in every bite.
