Our Story

Blue Jetty Foods is a family-owned business with over 20 years of soft shell crab aquaculture experience and seafood roots tracing back nearly a century. Our roots first started in Malaysia in the 1930s with my grandfather and his five sons running a small seafood wholesale business. By the 1980s, his sons expanded operations across Southeast Asia to countries such as Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. By the 2000s, the family business shifted once again to becoming a supplier of soft shell crabs and other seafood products. Today, we are proud to be one of the largest suppliers of soft shell crabs in the world — with our crabs enjoyed across North America, Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world.
